Family is at the centre of everything we do.
 

For us, family runs much deeper than the four walls of a home, it’s woven into the very foundations of Traquair Homes.
 

The name Traquair comes from our family property, once a part of a larger farming estate, Traquair, is a name we are both incredibly sentimental of and proud to carry forward. Originally settled by Scottish couple Owen and Agnes O’Donnell, the property has since remained in the McIntosh family for generations. It represents our heritage, our connection to the land and the family history that has shaped who we are today.
 

Building is a strong part of our family story. Robert is one of four builders in his immediate family, growing up surrounded by the trade and learning the value of quality workmanship, hard work and doing things properly. Natasha grew up with her grandfather, a builder himself who also grew up in the Gympie region, giving her an early connection to the industry and an appreciation for the knowledge and craftsmanship that comes from generations of experience.
 

Today, we’re raising four children of our own, and family is a huge part of our why. We want to build a business our children can be proud of, one that allows us to create a future for our family while remaining present for the moments that matter most.
 

That understanding shapes the way we build for our clients. We know that a home is so much more than a building. It’s where families grow, children make memories, generations gather and life unfolds. Our heritage may have laid the foundations for Traquair Homes, but family is what continues to build it.
