CARPENTER
We're looking for a motivated Carpenter who can lead from the front. This role is for someone with high standards, strong leadership skills, and the energy to keep a team moving while delivering outstanding workmanship.

Willing to travel within the Gympie region and to parts of the South Burnett (as far as Moffatdale). The benefit to travelling is working on rural acreage sites!
Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:
-
Leading toolbox meetings and supervise daily stand-ups, to keep the team productive throughout the day.

Coordinating materials, deliveries and subcontractors to ensure every project runs efficiently and on schedule.

Creating a positive, professional and accountable site culture while mentoring apprentices and carpenters.
-
Ensuring every team member knows what they're doing, who's responsible, when tasks need to be completed, and what materials, tools and fixings are required.

Ensuring all products are installed to manufacturer specifications.

Using our company systems, including HazardCo and BuildXact, the Traquair Homes Construction Manual, and quality control checklists.

Maintaining exceptional workmanship standards, preventing defects before they occur, and holding trades and staff accountable for quality on every build.

If successful in a Forman role you will move to full-time employment on $100,000 annual salary

If you're not quite ready for a Foreman role but show strong leadership potential, we also have the opportunity to be a Lead Carpenter starting from $85,000 per year, with a clear pathway into site leadership.

ADMIN ASSISTANT
At Traquair Homes, we're looking for an Admin Assistant who brings energy, organisation and initiative to our growing team. You'll play a key role in supporting our directors, coordinating projects and events, and helping showcase the Traquair Homes brand.

Has experience in administration (construction industry experience is highly regarded).

Your responsibilities would include, but are not limited to:

Managing daily administrative tasks to keep the business running efficiently.

Providing administrative support to the Directors.

Assisting with the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers and internal office processes.

Assist in coordinating team events, training days and company functions.
-
Creating engaging content for our social media platforms.

Assisting with client communication, document preparation and project administration.

Maintaining organised digital records, systems and company documentation.

Supporting continuous improvement by helping implement new systems and processes.

Basic office maintenance.
